For all vinyl junkies: HRT records texture pack
Posted by Vincent on Dec 19, 2008 in Featured, Textures | 11 comments

It is about time that I present some new hi-res textures on here, as posting frequency has decreased dramatically over the last few weeks. My apologies for that. One of the reasons is that I am currently working hard on a redesign of this site in order to add more features and enhance overall usability. Most of the recommendations made by the readers during the book contest will find their way into the new version, so stay tuned.
But today, I am offering you a nice texture pack, which includes 6 colorful images of my personal record collection. Being a DJ and vinyljunkie for years, I wonder, why it took me so long to come up with that idea. Anyways, I hope you enjoy these pictures and find them useful. As always, you can either download the single images or all of them in a zip file at the end of the post.

Well done mate!
Wow, they are really superb. Nice pictures you’ve got.
nice one – I did something similar for an elementary website project I did in school a year ago.

very nice, fiver! and funny to see that we have a similar taste of music. I could recognize some records we have in common (e.g. Metalheadz’ drum & bass headhunterz)
yeah, i saw that you had some proper releases in those pics as well. niceness
do you have any mixes up online? i wouldn’t mind hearing your take on that sound.
wow they are really nice great Fiver.
wow, these will fit right in with some hip hop designs we are working on. These are ill! Thanks for posting!
What about one of the record itself? The texture of an album’s surface is so amazing!
@Alana Post
I tried it a couple of times, but the lenses I currently have don’t give me satisfying results, but in the near future, I will buy a wide-angle or macro lens and then I will certainly try again.
big up mr 2lip, rocking the hip hop from witten.
