Free Wood Fence 3D Textures Pack with Transparent Backgrounds

This high resolution free wood fence texture pack is perfect for game textures, 3D modeling, 3D graphic design in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, or architectural textures. They are pre-matted with transparent backgrounds so that anything behind the wood fences will show through. They are designed to be seamless textures so that you can tile them horizontally and they will look great. Put any of our other free stock textures behind them and you can see the transparency looks great. The hi-res versions are saved in PNG-24 format with alpha channels.

4 hi-res grunge textures of cracked paint

Coming back from a nice vacation in the beautiful Ardeche region in France, I present you some nice grungy textures of cracked paint. There were lots of old villages in that area, so it was a perfect spot for shooting pictures of old stones, rocks and in this case wheathered wood. I hope you find those useful!

7 hi-res textures of wood and volcanic stone from Fuerteventura

My dear friend Martin, a regular contributor to this blog, recently went on vacation to Fuerteventura, one of the Canary islands. This island has emerged from volcanic activities and there is an abundance of nice rock formations, which are perfectly suited for shooting textures. This is exactly what he did and he gave me a few of his best shots in order to share them with you guys. So here is a nice collection of various exotic stone and wood textures from Fuerteventura.

Mixed texture pack: documenting the move

At the beginning of october, I moved into a new house with my girlfriend and as we made quite some renovations, I wanted to document those with a special texture pack. This pack includes high resolution images of carpet, tiles, wood and wallpaper. Enjoy!

Design inspiration: 3 more websites with excellent use of textures

In order to mix it up a little, it is time for some more inspiration. The following websites illustrate, how one can achieve beautiful results in web design through the use of textures.

slabovia tv: it has a nice wooden background and contains some concrete and paper textures as well. It is hard to describe, what this website is about, so you have to see for yourself. If you want to kill some time, the Monster pig game can help you with that!

decay of intent: this is the portfolio of Italian freelance graphic designer Alessandro Cammarota. He uses a grunge style concrete background on his website.

brainwash factory: design related blog of German freelance designer Ines Opifanti. I like the fabric background in combination with the well-crafted logo.

industrial decay part 1

Last saturday, I bought a new lens for my camera (Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 II) and I immediately had to try it out. So I went to an old industrial area nearby, where some of the properties are already abandoned. This was the perfect spot to get some shots of rusty metal, cracked paint and broken glass.

I am more than happy with the results of this session and as a consequence, I created a divers collection of 12 high resolution textures and offer them in one pack for your downloading convenience. Enjoy!
