Especially the work of Trey Ratcliff is breathtaking and he also has a very good tutorial on his blog “Stuck in Customs”, where he covers the ins and outs of the HDR technique. Inspired by all this, I thought that I could try and apply this special technique to my textures. And this is what came out of it – my first HDR beach sand texture. I hope you like it. Please let me know, what you think of this little experiment, so I can decide, whether it is worth to continue in that direction.
